    I’m a huge fan of timeshifter and it has saved me many bouts of jet lag as a frequent international traveler. However notifications no longer work with this latest version, which greatly limits it’s functionality

    I was very excited about following this plan and thought it would be helpful on our recent trip to South Africa, an eight hour time difference. Unfortunately, Timeshifter doesn’t take meal service on planes into account, and it can’t adjust for flight delays. The plan had us going to sleep right after getting onto a plane which is when the main meal service started. It was like trying to sleep in a kitchen which l, for obvious reasons, did not work. In addition, tour events and flight delays made the plan impossible to follow on the return trip. My advice: sleep when you can for as long as you can.

We followed the instructions on when to be in the light, when to be in the dark, when to drink caffeine and when to sleep. No jet lag at all, this app has changed the way I approach international travel!

    We recently used this app for a very long trip to Thailand . We started the journey, Philadelphia to Los Angeles then to Hong Kong with a 2 hour layover and finally to Bangkok. Followed the app to our destination and back 3 weeks later and we can honestly say, this app totally helped us have no jet lag. After hearing from many people that is kind of travel would surely cause us to have jet lag, we were so happy to experience none at all! By the way we are in our mid 60’s and not young travelers.

    I was able to follow almost all the recommendations before my trip to Hawaii which was a 4 hour time difference. I had NO significant jet lag. I was able to get up day one and enjoy beach and boat activities. Day 2 a hike without tiredness. I had to take a nap day 2 in Hawaii, but that was expected from the hike. It’s interesting how this works. I have recommended to my coworkers that travel. I regularly travel across time zones for work and am excited to try this on upcoming trips!
